Sample textures using 1D-FFTs

The textures on this page are produced using inverse one-dimensional fast-fourier transforms.
These are then smeared across the screen and more transforms are used to generate displacement fields which are used to distort the resulting image.
Both one- and two-dimensional displacement fileds may be used.
The effects are often reminiscent of waves.
All the textures shown here seamlessly tesselate.
